Liz Bullock, Recovery and Enrichment Program Director

I earned a B.A. in Psychology from St. Joseph College in 2006 and started working at Parents’ Foundation later that same year. I came on board in the position of Residential Staff and learned a great deal about providing care in the mental health field. As the years progressed, I was blessed with many opportunities to provide care under different positions, all of which further solidified my commitment to our residents. Presently, I enjoy working with our residents in the area of Recovery and Enrichment, which has given me a chance to appreciate an entirely new facet of our resident’s lives.

Favorite Activities with Residents:

I love being part of the planning team for resident activities, but my favorite activities are the outings. I especially enjoy our trips to Edgerton Park and our summer-time evening walks. Friday Night Movies are also a favorite of mine which are a great way to unwind from the week.

Proud Moments at Work:

The proudest moments at Parents’ Foundation are being able to be a part of a resident’s growth and development. Seeing the pride on a resident’s face when they accomplish a new skill, start volunteering, or get an apartment is all the reminder I need for why we do the work we do.
