Joanne Heller, House Chef

Joanne joined the PFTL team in November of 2020 and is looking forward to many years to come. She has worked in many different positions and places in the foodservice industry over the last 25 years. Joanne has a bachelor’s degree from UCONN, two advanced culinary degrees from Lincoln Culinary Institute, and a culinary certificate from the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners in Italy. She is also a certified Servsafe® instructor and registered proctor. In addition to her passion for food, she enjoys teaching and helping others. Working at PFTL allows Joanne to follow her passion for the culinary arts in addition to being able to teach culinary skills and help the residents.

Favorite Activities with Residents:

Joanne enjoys listening to music and hanging out with the residents while she prepares lunch for them. She is also looking forward to teaching a weekly cooking class with the residents.
